The creators of Faith Under Siege co-hosted an art exhibition with Ukrainian children’s drawings
The exhibition, titled “War and Peace Through Children’s Eyes,” took place on February 3, 2026, at Wisconsin Ave NW in Washington, D.C., in partnership with CITYarts and Save Ukraine.
The exhibition aimed to draw attention to Ukrainian children kidnapped or forced to live under Russian control and to raise a difficult but essential question: What happens to children under Russian rule as peace talks continue? The artworks, which highlighted the stark contrast between the children’s pre-war innocence and the trauma of life under occupation, were donated by CITYarts and Save Ukraine.
Following the exhibition, a moderated discussion brought together experts in rescuing, rehabilitating, and advocating for Ukraine’s children to share real stories and practical ways people can help. Speakers included Mykola Kuleba, Founder of Save Ukraine; Meaghan Mobbs, President of The Weatherman Foundation; Tsipi Ben-Haim, Founder and CEO of CITYarts; and Steven Moore, Executive Producer of Faith Under Siege and Founder of Ukraine Freedom Project.
Organizers sought to give these children a human voice through their artwork and to spark an urgent conversation about America’s role in protecting vulnerable young people affected by the war.
