On June 11th, 2025, members of the Faith Under Siege team attended the Iowa Family Leadership Summit in Des Moines

On June 11th, 2025, members of the Faith Under Siege team including Executive Producers Steven Moore and Anna Shvetsova (and our social media manager, Tatum Brose), attended the Iowa Family Leadership Summit in Des Moines. The Family Leadership Summit is “the Midwest’s premier event for Christians committed to transforming culture through God’s design for the family, church, government, and more” (The Family Leader). The conference was a beautiful gathering of faith-filled leaders and believers, giving our team the opportunity to raise awareness about the persecution of Ukrainian Christians in Russian-occupied Ukraine through discussion of our documentary.

Throughout the conference, we had productive and fruitful conversations with believers and leaders about the critical situation for Christ-followers in Ukraine, while also eagerly learning about the amazing Christian organizations and governmental authorities doing the Lord’s work in Iowa. We were also graced to hear from some fantastic Christ-led leaders and speakers that the Lord is using to build his kingdom including: Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, President of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Marjorie Dannenfelser, and more. Thank you #FamilyLeadershipSummit for creating a space for this imperative dialogue to take place! 🙏✝️
